I do love that! It's great hearing everyone else drive up the road and I'm still snuggled down.

I wish I could be snuggled up, at work or not I'd be up at some unearthly hour, I've decided to go to the Dr's next week about my dizziness and insomnia. I haven't been to a Dr in ages and don't know my Dr at all, just hope I do get there as I would like reassurance I'm ok.

Do go Lesley, you might get sent for tests, and that would be a good thing.

You might find the insomnia is just a rut you have got into and can't get out of. A bit like waking up at your normal time, even when you don't have to go to work.

I don't get up though if I wake early. In the summer I will lie and doze and then have a read. In the winter I turn over and go back to sleep!

I think I am going Jan as there are so many symptoms but I'm just such a wimp! x

You need to go! It may well be the best thing you have done in a long time and you could feel better for it.

What's everyone doing this Sunday?

Sunday not a lot, annual flower festival on Saturday but apart from visiting MIL in the Psychiatric unit having a rest day!

Jan do you remember me saying daughter's prom is comming up in July? Well she's been auditioned at school by the BBC as they would like to film her as her school is selected for the programme which will be shown on BBC3, don't know if she'll pass the audition but if she does they follow her getting ready, leaving the house, arriving etc.,!

I doubt they'll choose her as some of the other girls they auditioned come from very weatlthy families so doubt they want to film in my house!

She is arriving in a Mustang though driven by a body builder, do you think that will swing it? lol x

That's brilliant Lesley! I'm sure they won't want to be filming girls from wealthy families - they like to see the normal, everyday sort of people. So do I!

I hope she gets through. I shall watch the finished programme if she does.

We're having a bit of a get together this Sunday as it is daughter's birthday next week. Just the neighbours, her future in-laws and her half brother. Step daughter is NOT invited - not after last years performance!

I shall be on tenterhooks all weekend though in case she gets wind of it and turns up![:D]

Fortunately, her current partner is taking her out for a meal on Sunday night, so unless someone lets something slip, she won't know and we should all have a good time.

If she does find out, hubby has said that he will tell her exactly why she wasn't told about it!

I've had my hair cut today and hate it! I don't look like me and I feel awful, verdict from hubby and daughter to follow, let's hope she can work some magic on it as she normally does it!

Plus side, got a letter to the parents of *daughters name* and I opened it, she's won a young writers competition (through the school) that is going to be published soon and I have to sign a copyright form! She's got a certificate of merit and and a letter encouraging her to keep writing! It wasn't lots of words, it was meant to be short but very pleased she won, you can pre-order the book for £15.99!!! Can't wait to tell her when she comes home!

I'm hoping the weather tomorrow is as nice as it is at the moment - at least people can stand outside at our little 'do' and we do have a patio heater if it's a bit chilly.
