BONUS!!
I'm really scared, We had an IVA approved last July Whilst I was on maternity leave). My husband has since had two bonus's which we used to pay child care costs that we now have because I have returned to work. I didnt know I had to let them know with in 14 days. Im now really scared that my IVA is going to fail. I cant sleep or eat or stop crying. I'm so worried. I have know sent them a letter and the payslips along with proof of my childcare costs to explain but im really scared im going to loose my house if they force BR
Please can anyone give me advice.

Hi Kelly and welcome to the forum.

You do need to speak to your IP about this one, although it does seem as though you have kept them informed.

It is unlikely that they will make you bankrupt (check the wording in your proposal/chairmans report).

If they want any of the money, it can always be added on monthly or at the end of the IVA.

Did you intend to return to work when the IVA was approved?

Yes I did intend to return to work once my maternity leave had ended. My maternity pay and normal wage are the same amounts as I only work part time so there has been no increase there. Child care costs were never discussed because my mum was going to look after my son but she has been unwell so she hasnt been able to. We are tyring to arrange for family and friends to look after him as we are reliant on a bonus to pay child care costs and the bonus is performance related so some times more than others. Im really worried but too scared to ring pay plan because I get all flustered and upset on the phone!! I'm as worried now as I was when I first went doen the IVA route.

Don't be afraid of this firm Kelly - they will want to understand more about your current difficulties to see where they can help.

I have never had a problem with talking to Payplan.

The case worker is usually sympathetic when you get in touch with them.

I would re-check your entitlement to tax credits - both working and child tax credits. Unless you are earning mega bucks between you you should be entitled !

don't ask you don't get ...go for it.
