I agree that as much should be paid in as possible but it encourages you to work harder for the bonus if you know you can keep at least some - then its in the interest of you and your creditors...to get bonus for me requires extra hours and a lot of extra work so I would find it a bit sould destroying if I could not keep a penny of it.

Anyway checked my documents and the 10/50/50 rule applys to overtime, bonus and commissions so I am happy...

A good one is ShopnScan. All you have to do is scan the barcodes when putting your weekly shop away and transmit them weekly. As a bonus you get extra points for scanning amd mailing the till receipt.

Consumer pulse, is another good one, where you tell them the barcodes for certain items you purchase and get 50 pence per item (max 20 items per month). Haven't go the details for that one anymore though.

I've just uploaded mine today!!!!!

I've never uploaded barcodes for Consumer Pulse - just have to tell them if I've bought anything and where from.

no, we didn't upload them, just told them the barcode number, what and where. We stopped doing it when they wanted to do monthly mobile phone usage surveys, as they took too long.

I've never had to do barcodes for that one. I do the monthly mobile ones as it gives me extra points.

Kev, I am afraid the bonus will be taken as income for the month in which it is paid, so you only get one 10% disregard on the whole lot. If you work for a smaller company they might be able to pay it in monthly installments.
Foggy, will be happy if it over the month, frist week its was £250 over, but over the next 3 weeks its would now work out at £56 under the 10%
only get the bonus ones a year for safe driving.
now on 24 years but one rtc over the year lose it all.
Have put it away just in case it needs to be paid over.

Hi all, Car1e mentioned that when it comes to review time you would need to submit bank statements. is this true?? I have managed to save a little (seriously not a lot but say £150 since starting the IVA, why would they need to see my bank statements, worried now, shall I draw it out??

Some companies request statements, others don't.

If you have managed to make savings then don't worry - you're allowed to do that and your IP won't be interested in them.

You are allowed to make savings from your allowances so dont worry about having £150 sitting in your bank.

Not all IVA firms ask for bank statements but remember the review is for your benefit as well to ensure the IVA is still affordable.

Hi Benny

I think you've answered your own question, but just to confirm that the 50% rule does also apply to bonuses.

Hope you hit your bonus targets - it is always nice to have some extra money coming in!
