Just rung them to see if they have received my letter and documention offering a F & F, and they have told me they have not received it. I explained I sent it Special Delivery and that it has been signed for, but I was told they are running 2 weeks behind with their mail. Boo Hoo.

That's not good news! However at least you have proof of delivery and I'd badger them every few days to check whether or not they've looked at it. It might work!

Hi Mumsmushroom, goodness hun thats not good, but as Jan says you have proof & Im sure its there, but as with all big companies its probably been placed in the "pile to sort" not that, that helps you in the slightest.
And Im also thinking with the taking on all of BE IVA clients & BE was a large IVA provider, I bet they are snowed under at the moment.

I would badger them every couple of days too, let us know how you get on. (I was BE & transferred to GT too)
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Every other day i would be on the phone to them until you have it resolved ! Keep the proof of receipt as your evidence and hopefully they will be up to date in due course and you will have your query resolved !

Ooooh gt and lost paperwork. I came over all deja vu for a moment. They "lost" my remortgage documentation for a while recently, also sent recorded and signed for.
The guy at gt said it was preferable to send it via courier.
Courier from the uk to belfast! If i could afford that i wouldnt need an iva.

Well, GT still haven't replied to various emails I have sent them either!
Keep pestering them mumsmushroom. I admit they are very difficult to get hold of at the moment :(

Will keep trying! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I must admit, I wondered about the courier idea, but yes, what part of the allowance would that come out of? Maybe I could borrow your lear jet next time? Or anyone got a harrier jump jet? It has been a life long ambition to go in one of them! ha ha. I love our IVA's! Courier - hmph!

Perhaps a Carrier Pigeon might be more appropriate!

Having been on the end of taking over cases from other IPs, it is not an easy task and is bound to set them back a little. Can I suggest to anyone sending documents to GT right now that scanning and e-mailing might be more sensible, as at least they cannot argue they have been lost - and if they are misplaced or misdirected they can then be easily found.

I find if you don't laugh, you cry! Too many tears have been shed over this IVA and not affording to take my husbands children back to their mothers at the end of a weekend as we have no fuel and no money to put fuel in!! I have a lil one inside me (due in 10 weeks ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!), so just gotta keep laughing! Now.. where did I put the moses basket three years ago when my daughter grew out of it? Ideas?? Maybe this one can fit in a drawer!! I may have a spare one of them!
