I have never ever posted on this site but have been a visitor for a long long time.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the site from experts to posters as their comments/posts have been a big help to helping me complete my IVA and I have received my certificate of completion today!!!!!!

Its amazing how many people are thinking the same things as I did throughout my IVA. It just goes to show that no matter how bad your problems are, you are never alone out there. This site gave me hope and now I am standing in that light at the other end of the tunnel.

Frstly Congrats on reaching the end. Its a great feeling.

congratulations i guess you did the same as me sort your own iva out with your ip without the help of this site as it was 5 years ago.merry xmas.[:)]

What a lovely feeling you must be experiencing completion, I await the day myself but alas have a lot of months to go.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Yes I did and with a very good company who have been really helpfull throughout tbh. Even after completion.

A quick question I was meaning to ask them but hopefully someone can answer now.
Does an IVA constitute a CCJ.
I never had any through the post or ever had to reply to any court orders etc but I know that the IVA is effetively rubber stamped through the county court.

Another milestone - and now you can move on debt free. An IVA is not a CCJ - but it will affect your credit rating over the same period.

Many congratulations Mr Relieved you must be feeling on top of this world, I have another 30 mths + to go but am looking forward to being in the position that you are in now. Well done and good luck for your future.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
