I just wanted to say hi,and hoping to get some good tips and help from you all over the next 5 years.

We are in a IVA with McCambridge and Duffy,so only done 3 payments so far, but are counting down(56 to go).

We do budget plan every month, i use moneysupermarket.com to work out weekly food bill, and stick to the list i make from it!!!!!

Thankfully we did already have a tent and all the equipment to go with it....so at least we can unwind and have "cheap" holidays!!!! LOL
Life is a struggle.......but its all worth it in the end!!!!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Glad everything is going ok and you are with a good firm.

The camping holidays wouldn't do for me though, but I hope you enjoy them!

We're here for any questions you may have, and we do have a great social forum as well.

I couldn't do without my bath [:D]

Being able to go away and have a break will be a godsend for you during the IVA. I hope we have a long hot summer and you can enjoy your holidays [8D]

Have to say that I would rather stay at home than go camping!

I'm like Julie - I love my mod cons, but not fussed on the bath, although I know Julie loves hers.

Derbyshire is a lovely part of the country, it's been years since I've been there though.

We like a bit of camping, I wanted to pitch my tent in Jan's garden for the FF BBQ but I don't think she'd be up for that lol!

Now have an allotment so will be whiling the hours away there this summer.....needs a lot of work though!

Our garden is like a postage stamp and it slopes![:D]

You'd be sliding down to the fence!

I leave gardening to hubby - I just love to sit outside with a nice drink and admire the flowers.

We've got a few strawberry plants in and hubby has planted a rhubard crown today. We also have two dwarf apple trees which always give us a good yield.

The man in charge of the allotments told me that carrots and spuds ain't worth growing and you should go for fruit as that's what's expensive in the supermarkets.

Talking of dwarf rooted apple trees, I had a lesson on that tonight too! Mind boggling. He has 40 varieties in the community orchard which you can't buy in the shops!

I haven't a clue what ours are, one is an eater and one is a cooker. They've been in for years.
