Faceless banking! Now just call centers & the computer says "NO"!!!

For the past few days now I have been trying to get a 25K consolidation loan.. I went to BOS as I have a preference account with them & a Loan account. In total pay them £432.00 a month Pref acc I have had for years & never missed a beat.. Loan account had a couple of late payments but only by a week or so.. So I thought here's a good place to start.. the new 25K loan would only have been £386.86 p/m & it was deferred till May for the 1st payment, this would have put us back on track big time, but guess what the computer said NO!! How stupid are they? They have now forced me into a situation where I have to consider an IVA.. Their loss I guess!

Sorry for the rant 1st post & all that.. Seems a great forum I've dropped in a few times recently for a read.

Cheers,

Bru [:)]

Welcome to the forum.
i would check my credit report if you havent already, and try several lenders.
If the choice is either a loan or an IVA your lender must have a sense that things are getting a bit tight!
Im sure some experts will be along soon to give you more help and suggestions!

Thank you...

I have & I have.. It's odd as it's not a bad read my CR, but it will be if I don't get something sorted soon.. don't get it really!

The thing with loan apps is that they have a way of knowing how much you can afford to borrow...they call it over-commited if your upto your limit. Bit of a pain if your trying to consolidate so your paying less back on a monthly basis but I guess they don't take that into consideration. Try other companies that specialise in consolidation loans, you might have more luck.
It's nice to be back......
