if you are a distarged bankrupt and waiting for a compensation payment following a car accident would all the compensation have to be paid to official Receiver re bankruptcy

If you are discharged, then you would not have to pay any of the money over to the Official Receiver.

Would it make any difference when the accident happened Melanie? If the accident happened (or the claim was initiated) before discharge would the OR then have a claim?

Personal injury claims are generally exempt from bankruptcy proceedings in any case, but if the claim was for something different then it might be captured at the time of the bankruptcy order depending on circumstances - so you make a good point Skippy.

How is Lyme Regis - and is Dave better?
