I have applied for bankruptcy papers from
Romford county court however, i will have
to go to the high court London to petition for bankruptcy. Will that be ok to get the papers from a different court?

Also as soon as i have completed the forms
can i take them straight away to the high court or will i have to make an appointment?

I am currently on Jobseekers allowance do i get a discount on my bankruptcy fees?

Hi lees and welcome to the forum

If the High Court is the Court which has bankruptcy jurisdiction for the area in which you live, then it is no problem to get the actual forms from a different Court.

You will need to make an appointment with the High Court, so the best thing to do is to give them a ring and find out what their specific procedure is.

You will get a saving of approximately £150 by producing evidence of your jobseekers allowance.
