All the best Andy, and I do echo what Skippy has said - we're here for you if you need anymore support or advice.

Andy, that's really good news. I'm sorry that some of the posts seem to be critical, the forum isn't usually like that. I hope that if you need any more support or advice you won't be put off posting.

I'm so glad your IP was understanding, and good luck with the rest of your IVA x
Thanks - its OK, I am thick skinned and can take it on the chin - nar, I will be back for sure. This is a great forum and we all have something to contribute to help others if only to prevent them making the same mistakes we (I) have. xx

Phew, so pleased you are all sorted out Andy - yes, our stories are similar, although different sides of the coin.
Mr R also has well and truly kicked his ass and learnt his lessons and I love him more for trying to manage and keep things from us but then finding a solution to it all.
Good luck to you for the future - and keep posting! : )
Then were both lucky to have a good loving relationship - we might be up to our eyeballs in debt, but we still have love eh? I actually feel like I have SO let my family down - I am SO deeply and emotionally embarrased and ashamed of where we are now.....I just cant tell you......I hate this situation, but then we are nearly half way through....

Andy - I can only apologise again for how my comments may have been taken. I have said before it is very difficult to judge the tone of a post on an internet forum - I have also said, very recently, that people posting on here are no doubt desperate, stressed and could eaily take comments the way in which they were not intended.
I should have made clear that I was surprised that your IP didn't make everything c lear. I kind of felt like Moses being handed the 10 commandments - they were so strict about them!
I admit I was surprised that the agreement wasn't checked, but reading my post back I do sound somewhat holier than thou - ack. I am so sorry for any upset caused, that was never my intention.
Again, I wish you all the very best with your IVA and that you keep posting.
Namaste.

Hey, no, tbh, I think our fellow forum members were more concerned about it then I was.

You were lucky, our IVA felt as if it were just slid across a desk at us.....so whilst we read it cover to cover, the main point of it to us at the time was that we could breathe again. The main document had to be corrected several times because WE noticed errors, but just didnt register a few of the points that were not even relevant at the time - and didnt think to check the doc when circumstances changed - so we learn...

Seriously, I didnt take offence to your mail and appreciate your support...

And good luck to YOU and YOUR IVA....

All the best

Andy
