Can anyone help?? My son turns 16 next week and has managed to get himself a part time job. He needs to open a bank account with a cashcard but I'm worried he'll be declined. Any advice please.

He shouldn't be as no real financial association with you.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

He will be credit checked in his own right -- they no longer associate by address ( so we are told).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
