You would have been 4 months from finishing and 16 months from a clear credit record. The clock starts ticking when the IVA was taken out.
I think it would be diifficult to make a case for mis-selling and I imagine your IP covered all bases at the start ... mine did! We discussed DMP and BR and I signed a declaration to say that this was done and I chose the IVA route.
