I know argos has the 3 for 2 on toys at the moment, but my son has a great big long list from the argos catalogue bless him and instead I had a look on amazon and all the stuff he wants is a lot cheaper on amazon than in argos even with the 3 for 2.

Always worth scouting around Lem. I am getting little bits for me and Mum to do a treasure hunt for the kids when I go up the week before Xmas and I've normally got ebay, amazon and google open at the same time looking for the best prices!!

I love amazon lem! I've been getting some games for the boys DS & XBox new at a fraction of the price in the shops. I'm also getting football team duvet set from Amazon at a 3rd of the price of Argos, every little helps!

I was a bit cheeky when Argos did the 3for2 on toys as MIL was getting a big present for my sons birthday, so I got my boys main Santa pressy - a large football activity games table at £50 & got bumps fisher price play mat free n that was £50 too!

I love Amazon as well. A couple of my surveys pay out in Amazon vouchers so I just let them build up. I managed to get a Christening gift from there recently and it didn't cost me a penny!!

I've just purchased two books from Amazon for my Uni course and they're to be delivered this week, casually talking to a friend yesteday at work and she said 'have mine - no charge' she's done with them! Wow £34 saved! I had looked at used and on ebay but they were literally a couple of quid cheaper which is why I went for new. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Excellent lesley! That was a fab saving & very kind of your friend.

When I'm looking on eBay, I always check amazon as bidding on a game thats used can be the same price ad buying it new with free delivery!
