I've found fuel a nightmare £250 when iva started now £330. It really is hard fuel has gone up 29p a litre in 8 months!!!! I drive over 20k miles a year so I've tried everything to minimise the increases. My wife has become very good at making food go further!!!
The road is 72months long starting September 2010.

I dont cover even 9k miles a year but the wife does 15 to 20k so the price of fuel has pushed us. Wonder if it will ever come back down??

Never in a million years! Really bugs me as I have no alternative but the car so we are just stuck with it.

I get all my freezer stuff from Iceland as they pack your bags and deliver free-once a month on hubbys payday.
The rest from Asda-always been my favourite for reduced bakery and their basic range is good value for money-especially when you have an 8 year old with hollow legs!!
He actually prefers the 17p- 2 litre coke to *the real thing*.
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017

I do favour Asda. Do an online shop once a fortnight to save on the delivery cost. Everything else has to come from Tescos as it's the only big store in the vicinity. There was talk of Asda coming to town and there was a bit of a mad exited frenzy down here (doesnt take much!!!)

I prefer Sainsburys as I think they have a better choice of stuff but they are too expensive.

We shop in Asda once a week and use Tesco for top up as it's only half a mile from where I live.

I bought a bike last week from car boot for £20. Decided need to use the car less - only problem is it is 30 years since I rode a bike and it is not as easy as it looks or I remember!! will keep practising though and hopefully be able to use the bike more and not look as pathetic as I did last week.

[:D][:D]

I think I'd be a bit pathetic now on a bike! I last tried it a couple of years ago and panicked when I couldn't stop - completely forgot I had brakes and just put my feet down to stop me!

The fuel price is riddiculous, I want to take the twins out to the Fun Farm this afternoon which is about two miles away, not far but far enough to walk whilst pushing two heavyweight twins in their buggy. However, I'm not driving so son and I have decided to walk, won't take us long and certainly won't do me any harm!
