Access is cool! Much more powerful than excel and after you "get it" you'll never go back ;)

I teach both and we use excel to analyze with excel but if you need a graph from the data you'll find excel makes them easily with the correct selected data using the wizard. To me both totally separate programs and personally I prefer to use Excel.
edited: to say I realise you can produce graphs from the reports in access but just my personal preference to use Excel [:)]

Access is great for giving reports...like any database, you only get out what you put in!

I've learned to love excel etc because of my job, but give me employment law anytime [:D]

Oh no Mark I wasn't being personal. Julie mentioned you only get out what you put in hence why the operator is the vital part to input the data. Hope I haven't offended you or anyone, if I have apologies it wan't intentional it's a saying from work xx
