Ok so another pink spotty letter has arrived from my friends at GT. This all 7 pages asks that they will be holding a variation meeting in respect of my PPI and will be amending the terms and conditions of my arrangement???

Has anyone else had this? Looks fairly standardised.

I really cannot wait to get these people out of my life crickey i thought 2 divorces were bad enough. I was only left in this mess because of ex wife!?!

Kind Regards

This has been my first time of spotty envelopes - maybe you Tenon refugees have to wait just that bit longer :-)

They're a most fetching shade of purple. I got two of them due to GTs inability to send letters to my ex husband and me at different addresses (both letters had both addresses on but came here). Good job he and I are amicable really...

I had a nice spotty one as well... then the postman arrived and brought the letter from GT.[:D][:I]
Sent them back this morning seemed like a standard letter requesting me to sign my life away for something we never had but hey ho it has to be done so we can end this IVA when it is supposed to and not drag on for months afterwards.

The reason the envelopes are "spotty" is because they are not from GT they are from EIC........................

It says in big letters on the front "Return address EIC" blah blah blah "Glasgow". This is the same office as "Creditfix"............

GT letters come in white envelopes and have "Return address Grant Thornton" blah blah blah "Belfast"........................

You should always read what is in front of you, you are not agreeing to anything you are asking the creditors to accept your proposal to change the terms of your IVA, in my opinion (until I am shown differently), this is something totally different. By sending it off you are also agreeing to let GT act on your behalf long after you have received your completion certificate, so if in the future some new rip off comes to light then GT can jump on it on your behalf and claim any money back for your creditors... Do you really want this??

fair point Nick to me once completion is done and certificate received as long as all has been done by you to comply that should be it
