Borneo and others, I do hope you get your certificates through soon or at least a satisfactory explanation as to what the delay is. It is such a shame that after such commitment to your IVA things should become so stressful at the end and in some cases cause more stress than the IVA itself.

I mistakenly believed GT when I had an email in May saying I would have my completion certificate by the end of June. Not helped by other people in the same situation receiving their completion certificates (although I am obviously glad for them!)

Have emailed with IVA forum as the title so shall see if I get anywhere.

It is just very dispiriting (and more annoying to get your hopes up only to have them dashed again!)

Try and get them to give you a firm date that they are certain they can adhere to. I know how frustrating it is to be told something and then to have to constantly chase it, but have to say that this does probably happen in most firms.

I have heard back from Grant Thornton saying they will talk to the closures department and then get back to me today so I shall see what happens. Am hoping its just missed being posted rather than anything else (do other people get this anxious about all things IVA I wonder?)

Hi
I also had an email from them after speaking with customer services saying that they will look at my closure status (IVA F&F agreed December 2012, IVA agreed 2006).

This was following many emails, the last one headed 'IVA Forum'. This advice given from many on this site...thank you.

I must admit the last person I spoke to did sound as if she was talking about my file! (very pleasant as well).

Just hope they get back to me soon with some positive news. (as for all of us!).
Katy

Had a reply today saying that closures are looking into it and I should get another reply by Friday.

As I had an email in May saying the CC would be with me by end of June I'm not sure what else they need to look into but hopefully they will just find my certificate. And at least I am having faster replies to emails.
