Hi all, sorry I dont really post that often on this website but do look at it all the time and think it is valuable for all of those who have an IVA and it has really helped me in times of need. I have just had my 4th year review with Payplan and have to say I have found them understanding and really helpful over the 4 years I have been with them. Its just I know sometimes they have received bad press on this forum and just thought I'd put my views across. Take care everyone Locko xxx[:)]

It's always nice to read a positive post about a company and it will reassure others who are on their journey. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Glad your review went well.

I'm doing mine at the moment and it's taking me ages to get the paperwork together this year!

Hi Locko. I'm with PayPlan too. I posted here a few days ago (LOSING MY MIND). I speak as I find, and in over 3 years fro the vast majority of the time, I have had very good service from them. Following my email to them, I did receive an apology/clarification of matters. I've also just received a personal call from my CO's Team Leader - who had been my first CO. He followed up the apology to ensure that I felt it had been dealt with OK. It was a really nice surprise a) to hear from hi after all this time and b) for him to take the time to call himself to check. This is what I call good customer service. For many of us, the IVA process/journey can be a minefield at times, littered with fear, anxiety and trepidation. Good two-way communication is pivotal - especially during such times. I'm really pleased that your annual review went well Locko, and I wish you the very best as you near the end of your journey. x
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

Thanks everyone for your comments, yep counting down now to the end and like everyone else it can't come quick enough especially as my daughter is getting older, she is 14 now and as you imagine a typical teenager. Good luck to everyone with their annual reviews and IVAs locko xxx[:)]

It is great that you have taken time out to praise your IP firm, and thus give a balanced side to feedback. It is important to remember that for every complaint against a firm, there are probably hundreds of satisfied clients who receive good service on a daily basis from the firms they have chosen to represent them.

Feedback is like eBay. You expect 100% positive feedback every time. When you see 90% it means that for every 1000 customers that 100 are unhappy.
There is no smoke without fire!
Throw enough mud and it will stick!
Etc.

This forum is a good place for people to visit and take in that feedback and then make an informed decision on where to go.
7 years after starting an IVA I finally received a completion certificate from ClearDebt
