wonder how that will work as I had a lloyds duo card which was one mastercard and one amex? so will amex be a creditor of mine or as lloyds issued them both to me will lloyds retain the full debt to them ?

Hi
Just a reminder that any poster will be ejected by myself from this forum if they have an obvious bias against creditors. We can debate any subject but it must be done in a straight forward and professional manner.

Our IP has advised us not to contact RMA - we should be able to start to sort out a remortgage- all being well- as soon as we have the 3 valuations next week.

Andy, This is good support, I have no problem with anybody having a dig at creditors as we have probably all felt that emotion and are looking for support from other members. Sometimes in the last couple of days it has gone a bit too far and its then time to ask ourselves are we heading in the right direction. Your post here tells us that we are. Many thanks.

We most of us have a dig - usually it is just letting off steam as those same creditors have been pestering us.

What we don't want is nastiness towards the creditors and negative posts.

exactly Jan, I had to turn my computer off the other day as my reply would have probably landed me in trouble and thats certainly not what I want. I have had good support from the forum and hope now to be able to give a bit back. When you start getting wound up by others peoples posts then its not fun anymore. I don't know where I would be without the support I have had.

Can I just say it is great to see Andy at the helm of the forum again, captaining the ship through occasional stormy waters. I know that you have been very busy of late, and have not had as much time to post, but sometimes the forum needs a firm hand and I personally am glad to see you a little more present.

There have been a few pretty rude posts of late.

totally agree Melanie, I must admit I do make a tongue in cheek remark at times but things were going a bit too far.

I like tongue in cheek! But I don't like strong political comments or bad taste jokes. They are best kept for a night out with people you know well, rather than on a public forum where people can get offended. Just my opinion, and perhaps a little stuffy, but old fashioned values are important to me.

no thats fair comment, I think i have gone too far on the political side of things at times but Melanie please let me know if ever you think my comments are going too far or inappropriate. I would much prefer to know than offend anyone.
