Does anyone know of a web site which shows an up todate list of allowances?

I don't think the CCCS allowances, which seems to be what creditors use, has been updated for some time goulda.

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure i have seen this posted.

There is a full list of CCCS suggested allowances on a thread on the forum

Emma is right the list of these is avaliable on the forum and they havent been updated. If you are doing your I and E I would put it as it is. Your Ip will always advise if too much or too little.

the reason I ask is that our average monthly shop including toiletries, newspapers is always over £360 - we cannot get anywhere near the current allowances being quoted on this forum.

Will my IP accept this amount at the next review.

We are keeping a record of our spending

Hi there I would keep shopping receipts and when it comes to review send hem in and explain that you cannot manage on your present allowance. Actually if it was me and review was a while off I would speak to them now. Do your earn overtime they may allow you to offset some of the extra cost from that.
The food allowances vary so much from one person to another, I have seen som with less allowance than usand they have children as well. I think the cccs guidlines, which the creditors follow at present to a degree need to be reassessed. I would like to see the creditors manage on some of the low allowances given.

You do need to be realistic....its better to put down a real figure and have it trimmed a bit, than put down a low figure and have it trimmed even more!

The papers said yesterday that the costs in an average household (whatever that is) have risen £1,800 in the last year!!! people in IVAs cant absorb costs like that without having them recognised and taken into account!!
