Hi, I paid my IVA off early and would now like to save until I'm able to apply for mortgage. I applied for an ISA with coop who declined me. I didn't realise banks credit check for savings! Can anyone suggest a bank that will accept me for an ISA? Do Nationwide do credit checks on ISA'S, I was interested in their save to buy?!
The Co-op won't open a savings account if there is an IVA showing on your credit record. Did you apply online or go into a branch - that sometimes makes a difference.
Not sure about Nationwide. You could always phone them with a general query initially.

IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
