I am just newly seperated and worried how I am now going to pay my debts that are £24k they are in my name so I am responsible. I have loked at many reviews and am very impressed with this forum. I have filled out an enquiry form for Melanie Giles and am hoping she will represent me, I have forms from debtlifeboat but think Melanie is the way forward - does anyone agree?

I have an 11 year old son and do not want this to effect him too much does anyone else have children and how do you find it.

we are just going for IVA with Melanie, just signed proposal.. her and her team are fantastic!! they will do there best to help.. i have a 13 yr old who we have explained we are skint!! she seems fine and seems to be adjusting well to budgeting now.. heartbreaking but I hope this will bring her to learn by our mistakes..

think was easier to explain than telling her no everytime she asked for stuff
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

if you wish for a rainbow... then you have to put up with the rain xx

Thanks Angela

It really helps to know there are other people in the same situation.

Hiya worriedgirl and welcome to the forum.
Melanie has quite a following on here and many will vouch for her. She has helped lots of people get their lives back on track. Good luck with your IVA.

You have made a great choice in Melanie, she is a great source of information to all who post here and I'm sure you are in the best possible hands as Ang has said. Good luck with your IVA, you've taken the hardest step!

There are many on this forum who wished they would have known of Melanie before embarking on their IVA journeys. She gives up so much of her free time advising people on this forum as well as her full time work.......thats dedication.

Having met Melanie, i can assure you, you will find her nothing but pleasant to deal with as she is very down to earth.

I think you have deffinately made the right choice in making contact with her team.
