Right now I am feeling quite positive about everything.

We went away at Whistun on a sun holiday and we managed to keep some of our spending money. So right now it feels as though we are more comfortable moneywise than we have ever been in the IVA.

We are seriousley counting down until the finish now. I don't think there is a day that goes by where we don't mention how long we have left of the IVA.

And I love coming on here to see my ticker and the counter at the side of posts. [:D]It helps me to stay positive.

Just one more Christmas in the IVA, one more birthday, one more summer. I didn't think we would get this far but we have. [:D][:D][:D]

During our first couple of years together hubby and I would discuss having our own home, but reading some of the posts on here regarding equity and interest etc, I am so glad that we are renting with the council, so that when we make our final payment, thats it! No more!
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Hay Flow

I was having a right miserable time about 4 weeks ago, no one seemed to really understand how it felt having an IVa and all what goes with it! Then i got googling and found this place......my little saviour from masness lol!

Since then i look at my IVa in a much more positive light, as you do i watch the ticker all the time and count down the weeks until im debt free! The other week i kept thinging "this is going on for ever....cant do this anymore' then realised im well past half way and now the end is in sight!

Me and my partner have planned so much now for May 2012 as all of his debt will be paiod by then too!!! So all i can say is sod the myan calander (when the worlds ends....allegidly) my world will just be beginning again!

best wishes
Arty

I wish you both the best of luck and I won't be far behind you, I'm 30 months in this month and that time has gone quickly, not always smoothly but I've survived. I hope the next 30 months go smoothly for me too. I have plans but sometimes I get scared too as I like the security an IVA offers me. x

Arty, I remmeber when we had 1 year and 10 months to go. It only seems like yesterday.

The pat year has gone so quick. I posted on here last year that we had 2years left and then under 20 months.

And now we are not far off the 1 year mark. Looking back I can't believe we have survived the IVA and are coming out of the end smiling!

Lesley, we have made plans too, but I think the first month we will be scared to spend as we will worry that someone is going to take it away from us.

I will have spent most of my adult life paying off debts (I was a student until I was 23) so i had the usual credit card and overdraft plus student loans. So for the first time in my adult like I won't have to pay any debts off. I

I will be 30 next january, so my life will really begin in my 30's and not at 40 as the saying goes. xx

I would love to celebrate Flow by taking my family on holiday, it's something I've always dreamed of, just once in life, I would like my husband and I to treat my 4 children their partners and my grandchildren to an all inclusive couple of weeks. To me it would be my dream x

Might be a tad expensive but would be worth it for me as I'm very family orientated. I have 4 children and by Christmas I will have 7 Granchildren and along with all their respective partners it would be one dream to have everyone abroad having a good time. xx

I hope you manage it.
