Fingers crossed you find somewhere lovely soon, as for the cycling you put me totally to shame!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

How do you go about getting a rented place when in an IVA.
Well done with your cycling but be careful on the roads.

Hi Ladyc

There isn't generally too much of a problem in getting rented property whilst in an IVA. Typically landlords (esp. those of domestic property) are a bit more enlightened than they used to be. However, the landlord will need to be satisfied that the rent will get paid. The biggest problem will, I think, be the rent deposit i.e finding it which might need a holiday in regard to IVA payments if the money can't be raised elsewhere. Hence the wisdom of alerting the Supervisor at an early stage of the potential problem.
