Something strange has happened to me this morning. I have just logged into my online banking and seen the final payment of my IVA sent. I have a strange feeling of calm, a sense of completion and in no shape or form do I suddenly have the urge to wonder what to spend that extra money on now. Like everyone else I guess I have another year of everything balancing itself out. I have been asked to sign a form for PPI claims which I have done as I have non that I am aware of and my certificate should be sent to me now. The IVA has been a crucial lesson in me learning how to manage my personal finances, and one that I will probably carry with me forever.

Well done on that last payment leaving your account. I made mine on Jan 28th and awaiting completion certificate. Not spent any missed payments yet as I just want to know all is in order before I make plans.

Hope your debt free future is a very rosy one.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It must be a great feeling seeing that last payment going out, and knowing that in future months the money is all yours! Let's hope any remaining issues, such as PPI, can be sorted out for you quickly, and that completion certificate can be issued.
