A new week has begun.

Morning all.#13;#10; Well i worked all weekend in A&E and was still able to give my all to the patients.My colleagues are shocked at how i looked and i found the courage to tell a few what was happening.Lots of support and hugs. Told off for letting myself get into such a physical state though. #13;#10;#13;#10;I have downloaded the BR forms and have begun to fill them in, some bits are quite tricky though. Taking my time with it making sure that i make it as accurate as possible. Once completed i will make a trip to my local CAB and get someone to go through it with me. #13;#10;#13;#10;My IP is going to ring today with regard to the modifcations they made at the creditors meeting last friday, if it's a no then at least i have some cash left to put aside for the BR fee.

Hi Quark, I'm glad you have confided in someone - it really takes the weight off you a bit. Good luck with filling in the forms - they are confusing, but not that bad when you get into them! I filled mine in over a month to make sure I got them right. I did make a couple of mistakes, but they were amended at court without any problems.

Thanks, what do i need to do with my creditors in the meantime ? and how long should i take over this ? stupid questions in know

The sooner that you file the forms then the issue of your creditors no longer becomes your problem but that of the Official Receiver. So if you have made the decision to go bankrupt you might as well get the forms in sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know long it takes to get an appt at the high court once forms are filled in and fee ready ?#13;#10;

Depends on the Court and how buzy they are, phone your local court and asked to speak to the bankruptcy clerk, they will be able to tell you.

There is no waiting list at the High Court - you merely turn up first thing in the morning - ie about 8.30 and join the queue at the Thomas More building. The process can be a little lengthy, but at least you are guaranteed of getting your order on the day you want it.

Thanks Melanie,i think i will take a friend with me. i feel completely petrified but i know my health and studies are suffering really badly and i have to gain some kind of control.I have failed and accept that. I have learned my lesson and it's been very harsh one at that.I hope once i finish my degree and qualify as a nurse i will feel much more free and able to carry on with my life and never ever get into debt again.

Good idea - then you have someone you can go for a quick drink afterwards to celebrate! Look to the future - as you can do something about that, you cannot now do anything about the past.

Thank you very Chris.I am not taking this decision lightly in any way.I've made myself really ill over the last 2 weeks worrying about all this, i look dead.I am wondering whether the fees i have paid to the IP already are refundable, i ask only because i don't know, and it would be useful to get something back to put forward for the BR fees.
