Well, I was feeling off into my IVA and it’s still not done yet. Made my final payment in January and had confirmation both via email and phone that all my payments was made and I’ll have my completion certificate within 3 - 6 months (earlier then better as there’s no issues).
Over 6 months (only just, but stipulated in the terms/contract) later and still not here. 8 weeks ago I asked for an update and Ebenegates response was “it’s in the final stages of the closure process and finalising funds to be distributed to creditors”. I thought fair enough and let it go the full 6 months. After the 6 month period I emailed again and was met with the same response. However, they also asked not to respond again unless the matter is “urgent”.
Now, bearing in mind they’ve refused me communication with my IP, I’m wondering if it’s worth complaining? Has anyone gone above their IP before, or the firm? I know EbeneGate are working on behalf of my IP as an admin company, but if I had missed a payment or breached the IVA, I’d be in the wrong. How can they break the rules written/agreed by themselves?
Glad I’ve paid up, but over 6.5 years now and can’t help but think EbeneGate will never be a good IVA company, even with all the Trust Pilot reviews.
