Just been on the news that they are expecting inflation to rise to 5%.. as working for the government our payrise, which was due in June, has been capped to 2% at the most.. how are we supposed to manage even out of an IVA.. its getting worse!!

Its affecting everybody, I had an abusive taxpayer on telephone yesterday at work who got really personal, as his business is failing.. I got quite upset and just thought how many more calls am i going to get like this..

Just feeling really fed up with life at the moment!!!
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

I work for the government too and can appreciate your concerns! I get so cross when people expect to receive benefit handouts for nothing incl their housing and council rent/tax and then refuse toapply for suitable work - there are very few people that could not do ANY work - even those with disabilities are able to undertake something small in alot of cases!

Our 2% capped increase this year won't even help towards the utility bills - let's hope our IP's see sense at review times and allow us to consider lowering payments if needs be !
