Hi I have successfully completed my IVA and on trying to sort out my Experian credit report four companies are refusing to say that my outstanding to debt with them is settled. They were all included in my IVA and I do not know why they are doing this they have seen my completion letter from step change but no dice.
What do I do about this I thought an IVA was legally binding and they agreed to me being in it in the first place.
Thanks for any advice I have a lot of chasing up to do today.

I assume you have written to each creditor with a copy of the completion certificate. Has it been 6 years since date of acceptance of the IVA?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi. How they describe your account is largely immaterial. The important thing that they MUST do, is date the defaults on or before the date your IVA commenced. This way they will all drop off your record ( however they are described) totally when the IVA drops off.

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
