my mate at work nearly put it in the snack machine, checked on internet and definately one of these coins, now tell me are they worth more than £50, would love to brighten my mates day up!

If you can sell them for enough on Ebay then great, trouble is that now everyone knows about them, they will become more common and supply will outstrip demand.

The ones on Ebay at the moment don't appear to be going for vast sums. Ok, a lot more than the face value, but not the thousands that have been reported.

Last night 2 seperate ones sold for £175 each.
The bidding is still over £100 on some this mornng.

Without wishing to rain on anyone's parade - the price on Ebay is coming down as more of these turn up - OK it's more than you would get from the Royal Mint at the moment, but I think the very big bucks have gone.

I'm only jealous really!
