I hope everyone has a positive year (especially Ray)

I'm 50 in Jan 2012 and I'm going abroad courtesy of my children they all clubbed together and gave me this as a treat.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hello Ray - welcome back! It's good to hear from you, I'm sorry to see your debt free start has not started that well, I do hope 2012 bring you lots more luck in the health & job front.

If I'm going to reflect back on the year it's been pretty rocky for me, probably be quite glad to see this year over!
But it will be lovely to start the new year with the addition of Bingo! Bingo is forum name for my bump till she is born, if anyone is reading this & think I'm mad! I don't think this one wants to make am early appearance so I'm sure we will meet her in the new year.
This new year I will be looking for some new resolutions, as I have won the battle with cigs & been quit for 6 months solid now, & the hubby has too. And I have managed to stop biting my nails! I dud want to lose weight but can't really do that whilst pregnant, nor could I deny myself food at the moment, I "really" enjoy my food at the moment!

I do hope the new year brings us all some luck & joy x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

2012 will be a good year for us ...lots of family celebrations... In-laws 50th anniversary, my mum's 70th birthday and I reach the magical 40!
Lots planned including our first holiday abroad since before the IVA ... 2 weeks in Lanzarote....gonna be great to just relax and relax and relax ....

2012 is also the year I am determind to make it up with some friends who we have lost touch with ..... Not sure why we lost touch but we did, and I heard yesterday their daughter is extremely poorly at the moment and there is little hope..just a matter of time...cannot imagine what they are going through but I want to be there for them if they want my support !

I am also determind to continue to support the forum and it's members through their journeys to debt freedom !

Sounds like a year of celebrations lulu! Sorry to hear about your friends daughter, I can not imagine what they are going through.

It will be our first proper wedding anniversary with it being a leap year as we got married on the 29 february! Doubt much celebrating will be happening as bingo will be here by then! X

Sounds like a great year ahead for you Liz. Sorry to hear about your friends daughter though, that must be awful for them. Can't begin to imagine how they feel.

It's our 25th wedding anniversary in February, not doing anything though.
