Sorry if i confused you i probably worded it wrong. All creditors that did vote, voted yes and thier claims are in. However there are a couple that didnt vote that so far have never made a claim to our knowledge.

Had an email back saying it has been passed that if claims do come in higher then creditors will have to accept a slightly lower dividend and no extra money will need to be paid in.

I may have misunderstood, but we have already paid the quoted figure to close the IVA after the final creditor meeting. As far as I am aware, only the cheques need to be sent to the creditors, followed by confirmation of receipt by the creditors in order to gain certification of the closure of the IVA.

This has currently taken 2 months with no immediate end in sight. The IP has had the payment (nearly £10000) for this time and has not yet used it to pay the creditors and are thus accruing interest on it. There must be some legislation covering this eventuality?

Hi IVA1963
I think that the best route for you is to phone on a weekly basis and basically get on their nerves. They will conclude your case if you persist.

No legislation sorry - only good common sense. Andy's practical approach, which he used personally with his own IP, forms very good advice.
