Hello all,

Put in my 1st year I&E paperwork last night, isn't email wonderful.

We have had a hectic year with this money stopping this increasing this that and the other, I hope Sue's & Mels' team can sort it out.

Still stressed over it, I know I owe money but cannot owrk out how much due to all the changes. Initially tried to sort out by end of month 4 but things changed again & again.

I now await the reply.......

But it does feel good to get 1 year out of the way, my wife is lowly facing up to things - she just thought I was being a tight git, but a few recent scares have mad her realise we are better off especially if we stick to the budget.

Not much has changed in terms of spend just a change in income.

Here's to year 2

Well done on completing your first year, that was my toughest, I'm sure your review will be fine and Mel's team will be able to sort it I'm sure. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Well done on completing your first year. It's a great milestone to reach.

Sue and I will review your case as soon as we can, and I am sure that there will be very few changes made. We expect to see fluctuations in income and expenditure at each review point, and if there are any issues we will discuss them with you as appropriate.

Most of my clients say that the first year is the worst, so let's hope that proves true in your case too.

Martgoingmad..... just waiting to hear in regards to my mortgage with N Rock and whether they will allow me to continue on "Interest Only" before I submit my 1st year I & E...wow nearly 12 months now.

Biggest concern would be that N Rock refuse to allow me to extend, although speaking to the Dept involved they dont envisage any problems.

Fingers firmly crossed!

Still can't believe, after so long living on credit, I've went over 12 months now without any type of credit (except insurance and mobile phone) and only a handful of letters over that time from creditors.

Cant say general living day to day has been easier without credit but it certainly helps to make me sleep better and whilst we havn't had much money for luxuries, trips abroad and new cars, it has allowed me to concentrate much more on the important things in life....especially my family.

I spent so many years worrying about money and buying/spending on non-essential items and so little time on the real things that matter in our lives, however, the IVA and realisation of what really matters has been a breath of fresh air over this past year and gave me a chance to put things right for our future.

Good luck to us on the next 4 years and beyond!

Many regards.
