Hi, My first annual review went well. My increases in expenditure have been accepted. I did offer another 3.00 per month but they have said my payments will remain the same. Thats a releif. I found the team really helpful and had a real good chat with the lady who called me to tell me.
Caraf good luck with yours. Please let me know how you go on.

Hi Carol. They didn't mention my bank statements, I had to send in three alltogether.
I came home from work and had a message to call Kerry from DFD. I was a bit nervous, but when I got through I actually spoke to someone else who said it was a courtesy call to say my payments were remaiing the same.
I am due a pay rise soon and I asked about some of this going to dental and glasses, the lady I spoke to was really very nice about it and advised me that I should be allowed more contingency for these things. I am so pleased and have to say DFD so far have been fine. My petrol increased by 15.00 a month, they didnt question this, I sent in receipts though. They have given me increases where I asked for them without any queries.

See most IP's and their staff are human and understand most peoples circumstances.

I am sure with better training and help from this Forum will ensure IP's (and their staff) behave fairly and appropriately.

Thanks Emma. It was a nervy time. I imagined the worst, that they would be totally unreasonable etc. I tend to think the worst at times like these. Im sure Caraf will be ok, we were both with Clearstart before our iva's transferred to DFD and that upset us a bit. However I cannot comlain about DFD so far, so good. I know Caraf has stated in earlier posts that she finds communicating with them easy enough.

Thank you. Glad everything went ok Marsha1 I am really pleased for you. Lets hope they are reasonable with me. Although nothing much has changed with our I&E. My husband got a 3% rise last January and this has been more than swallowed up by increases in petrol, food, gas and electric.

Thank you again and I will let you know how I get on.
Regards
carol
