where you going in November Lesley? Skip you will love Florida, we had a great time there a couple of years ago even though it is not somewhere I really wanted to go, to see the joy on my kids faces made it so worthwhile, would love to take them again, ut haven't got a spare £7k floating about at the moment!

I love Florida - been several times (all on the plastic!!) and would also love to go back again.

Getting a bit too old for the theme parks now though!!

Thanks everyone! I am so pleased with myself as I was a full time smoker and never thought I could. But I did and cold turkey as well.

I can't wait for my hols. Jan - I have been to turkey a few times and love it as it is generally always good weather which is all I ask.

Sx

I won't be going on any of the rides, only wandering around the theme parks but it's got to be done!

And there's no stopping Dave now he's got a passport - not only does he want to go to Florida but he wants to go back to the US in a few years as it'll be his 60th and my 40th birthdays!

Dave will be 60 in a few years Skippy? Wow he looks young!

I am going somewhere in November 2013 Lem to celebrate hubby's 50th birthday. It will undoubetedly be fishing related, but so long as there is sun involved I won't complain (too much).

It's when my graduation will be so I'm not missing that after all this hard work so won't book it until we know when I can wear my cap and gown!

That'll make his day Lesley! He'll be 60 in 2014 and I'll be 40 in 2015 so we thought we should do something to 'celebrate'!

Perhaps we should go somewhere together Skip? I'm 60 at the end of 2013 and hubby is an old git anyway and we didn't celebrate!!!

Now there's an idea Jan! At the moment we're thinking of either Las Vegas and California or New England and Washington. I'm leaning more towards New England at the moment but of course that could all change in the next 3 years!

well done Pod-moo I gave up 6 years ago cold turkey as well, it was no where near as hard as I convinced myself it was going to be.

I hope everyone enjoys there holidays wherever your going as much as I will enjoy mine. It makes a nice change to have something to look forward to and Lesley 2013 will come around before you know it.
