We did manage to get an absolute bargain, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to afford it, with the troubles over there last year they are desperate for tourists so there are some real bargains to be had, think we got a bit of an extra discount as well because I knew the sales woman's dad as I work with him. So all together it made it just within our budget,
It's going to be tight on spending money but as long as I have a pool to lay by with my ereader and enough for a couple of trips I am happy.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

My hubby would love the snorkelling but I'm not a fan but would go to watch. He has scuba dived too but sadly no money for that now.

Sound idyllic though just to lie by the pool, it's all I pretty much did in January and it was so relaxing. x

I'm scared of water so snorkelling and scuba diving are definitely out for me, although I'm planning on conquering my fear and swimming with dolphins in Florida next year.

I'd love to go to Egypt to see the pyramids but I can't see it ever happening as I'd be too scared to eat or drink anything in case I was ill!

I've done both and enjoyed them, especially in the Maldives.

Not done the pyramids and hubby isn't interested in them. When we went to Egypt two years ago, the people who did the pyramids etc., came back with bad stomachs!!

We went to Taba Heights, fully inclusive and it was lovely and not a bad tum in sight!!

Egypt was our original choice for August this year, but then we looked at the prices, fell over and plumped for Lanzarote......still going to be a fantastic holiday - our first one since our IVA started and ended......

weve done the nile cruise twice, loved every mnute of it! second time was best (well for us!!) it was just after the 'revolution' happened, boat was half empty, all the temples and tombs were dead (no pun intended...honest [:o])

Its a stunning country, just a shame i think within the next two years most of it will be off limits once the laws change there!

I too am very lucky and with the bonus/payrise last year I have managed to book a cheap all inclusive to Turkey in June. I am so excited and living so frugally right now will be worth it in the end.

It is also 100 days since I stopped smoking today so money saved there has helped.

x

I hope you all have a great time! My big holiday will be next year when (all being well!) we're going to Florida for 7 nights in Orlando and 7 in Clearwater. I've never been before and I can't wait!
