We use B&M and Home Bargains. We bought some Sharwoods Poppadoms for FF from there at 29p a pack as opposed to £1.79 in Asda and they are in date. Baxters soups are a lot cheaper as well.
Went to B&M yesterday (didn't even know we had one or what they sold) Absolutely brilliant, alot of branded goods much, and i mean much cheaper than the big supermarkets, some weird and wonderful stuff that i must give a try as well. Think i'll give Aldi a try too.
Thanks to all for the moneysaving tips.

B&M are very good - have to say that we don't like Aldi or Lidl though and have tried both.

We often don't get the budget supermarkets down south until they've been tested north of Watford. We were late to the party with Lidl and Netto too.

I like the north and would move up there but my boyfriend doesn't want to be any nearer to his mother [:)]

Foggy - the people are different up north! Friendlier and with less attitude.

I'd move to Manchester tomorrow if I could. Hubby would never go though. I detest where I live despite it being my birth town.

I always smile when Manchester/Liverpool is classed as the North. To me its the Midlands, and London is another country[:D]

I love Norfolk! My boyfriend went to school there and since he showed me the village we've been back every year. It's so nice on the Norfolk coast.
