Washing machine decided to stick mid cycle on me the morning thanks.[}:)] Thankfully it's still under cover with currys but cant come out till Wednesday which is a day i am working typical.Way cant life be simple. :-/

That's not good news at all!!!! You'd have thought they could have come out before Wednesday!!!

At least it is covered though.

I've just put the last lot of washing in for this weekend so hopefully it will be ok!!!

My dread fear is the tumble dryer packing up!!

I have an energy monitor and when I just put our tumble drier on the power usage jumped up 500%,goes up loads when the iron is on too,think thats why the wife doesnt use it!!!!!

Ours has been working overtime this weekend - just put the last lot on the dryer now.

Nearly finished the ironing as well!!

Oh hope it's fixed Wednesday for you Shrews, glad it's covered.

I don't own a tumble dryer so can't use one, I have just got an energy meter but not set it up yet, do you find it useful/informative PD?

I don't iron that's hubby's job!

The only thing hubby irons are his trousers as I can never get the crease right!!!

Ironing is my job, I enjoy it and wouldn't trust it to anyone else.[:)] I have one of those steam generators and ironing is so easy.

We have a steam generator Julie and I don't know how to use it, I did have a lesson last week but obviously I'm not good at learning as the lesson wasn't successful, or maybe it was his teaching skills that let him down!

Mine is a simple one Lesley..an iron that sits on a base you fill with water. Iron as normal, but the steam is powerful and makes it easy.

Oh this might be easy Julie, I just don't have an interest in it, he did tell me earlier I need to learn to do more things when unpacking the shopping and I didn't know where a lot of it lived (apart from the crisp/snack cupboard).
