I've been with Vodafone for nearly 7 years now but I'm going to be cancelling my contract in December - their customer service is appalling! They have changed a couple of things in my contract and didn't notify me. I've now been given 3 different explanations, and the final straw was when I complained in an email and the reply was pretty much my own wording changed around slightly and looking as though someone had typed it in a foreign language, run it through Google Translate so it wasn't good English and sent it back to me!

I feel so strongly that if I can't get a contract elsewhere I've asked Dave to take one out for me!

I hate foreign call centres and I hate poor customer service!

Rant over!

Don't blame you Skip. I hate poor customer service as well.

I was impressed with Sky customer service last week but not today!!!

They were supposed to have fixed the problem with call barring whereby blocked numbers were still getting through. I emailed them again last night and I got a reply back today telling me what I needed to do to barr a number!!! Errrrrrr I know exactly what to do and my problem is that people are still getting through!!! I've emailed her back so we'll see what happens.

Wouldn't mind but I'm paying extra for this service!!!

I don't like poor customer service either but all too often these days it's what we get.

I hope you get a new contract Skippy when the time is right x

I was going to keep arguing with them but I'm going to leave it and just cancel the contract and when they ask why they can have the full story!

I have no problem with broadband, in fact it's the best I've had in a long while. It's just the call barring that is annoying me - they can't seem to get it right!!

If they can fix that then I'll be happy!

and hopefully they'll do that very soon. I'm with Sky but luckily not had to use Customer Service as I don't subscribe to call barring or anything. Nobody rings my house phone apart from my Mum and his Mum and we don't pick up to his Mum just let her leave a voicemail. x

Don't usually need to phone them at all but this is driving me nuts!!! The calls are all the stupid ones about a virus on the computer, PPI misselling, utility swapping etc., and they really are annoying. We've had this number for a long while now and it was given out quite freely at times before these cold calls came into being. We are ex directory as well and registered with TPS but as they are calling from outside the UK via a portal which gives them a non existent UK number, they can do that.

I shall tell them that I want this sorting once and for all and I want a refund on the monthly charge.

Welcome to the forum Heidi.

As you might be aware many forum members in IVA's have concerns about either getting phone contracts, keeping current contracts and upgrading whilst in an IVA. Can you tell us a little more about Vodafone's stance in these matters, pleae?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Welcome from me as well.

The link you have posted does appear to have a problem at the moment - presumably this will be fixed soon?
