Hi all

I haven't been around lately due to the school hols. Driving me mad! I hate things not being in order and at the minute nothing is 'routine'. I am totally worn out, I have been working longer days and travelling some days 3 times further, it has now taken it's toll.

I am so tired and mentally drained, all I have done for the last 2 days is moan -so sorry I thought I had better come on here and do it before OH strangles me! [:D]

It didn't help that when I got home 15hours after I originally left it I then had to go back out again as we had no food in - Rubbish!

Sorry for moaning and whining............[:I]

Could I join in moaning about school holidays? I love my kids, but the house is a tip; there's no food left cos they keep eating and eating and eating! Fights, actually they're less now that they're older, but still at least one a day. No sleep - between the older ones out till late and the little one waking up early. Phew, that's better!

Keep going till your weeks off MS :)

I was just about to reply to this yesterday when the site went belly up!

I am so glad my daughter is now too old for school. I remember the days of trying to find stuff to do, and how much it used to cost me.

She amuses herself these days!

I'm a lazy mum and love the school hols, can get out of routine and for £5.00 per week, she does the hoovering, dusting and washing the floors everyday. She likes the money and I like to come home from work and do nothing. Tomorrow she's doing the CD's and wine rack too. Bless her x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I don't think there is enough money in the world to persuade my daughter to pick up a duster! Her bedroom is a total tip and the inside of her car has more CD's than HMV![:D]

She spent last year in rooms at Uni, the polish came back unused! I dread to think what the state of her room was - we were not allowed to go up and help her move back home. Says it all![:D]

They're all different Jan, I'm a bit of a compulsive cleaner so she's always had to do it my way bless her. I stopped giving her pocket money when she got a cleaning job with my SIL and she knows we're going through a money crisis but nothing about IVA. Therefore this £5.00 per week is a lot to her and she likes to go to the gym once a week which is £3.20. Her wages she mainly saves for clothes and make up.

I used to make her clean her room every week. I've given up now. As long as the door is shut and I can't see it, I'll put up with it.

I can't really bribe her now either as she works part time so has enough money for what she wants.

It took me and husband 5 hours to clean sons room last week.I cannot for the shame of it tell you what we found there(but he wasn't eating his pack lunches!!!!) Completely mingin'.I'm amazed we didn't have enviromental health camera crew filming us.We brought out 7 black bin bags of utter rubbish and 7 more for the car boot.It was a scorching days and I think I sweated a stone off.He was not grateful and still expects pocket money from me.Wrong.He gets nothing unless he walks the dogs daily.I've told him a nieghbour is timing the lengths of his walks as well and I don't care if it's child abuse...Cat[:)]

Cat, my daughter was like that with food! My hubby would always know if she had been hiding stuff as soon as he opened the door - there would be a smell!

He then had to play 'hunt the mouldy food', and it was everywhere - drawers, wardrobe, even a jewellery box! By the time it was removed, it was almost putrified.

She was stopped from taking food upstairs for a long, long time.
