Hi all, just found this site and thought id hop on board and get some advice...

Im coming up to my 3rd review soon, i currently pay £700 per month and have done for past 2 years, whilst high its manageable

But even with putting up all expenditure sensibly (Most Things 5%) its looking like my review is going to go up to almost £800 as per my income and expenditure form..

Id obviously not want to have to pay £800 as it leaves me with virtually nothing for the month, anybody any tips or advice for what i could do..

I do have another question about owning a car but shall post that in the relevant group..

Great forum here guys, itll be nice to be able to chat through things with likeminded people

CCCS have guidelines so have a look at them.

I think you can make allowances for prescriptions and haircuts, a small allowance for socialising, but I don't know about holidays and whether or not you are expected to make savings from your normal expenses for that.

I'll bump this back up so that one of the experts can see it.

Would you believe I can't find it! I know that it has been posted on here recently, someone will post it on here.

The actual CCCS website address is this:

Your IP is sure to allow you a modest allowance towards Sports, Hobbies and Entertainments, but holidays and birthdays/Xmas will usually need to be funded from your housekeeping allowance.

Housekeeping is all your supermarket shop: food, toiletries, cleaning products etc.
