Hi, We finished our iva in april 07 and would like to know how long till we are no longer creditor outcast's! I long for a bank account with a debit card facility and the option if required to be accepted for a loan or credit card.
How long till this may happen?

Hi lellyk and welcome to the forum
The IVA will remain a matter of record at the credit scoring agencies for six years from the date of the approval of the arrangement, however this should not stop you getting debit and credit cards within that time period.

Hello Lellyk,
Your IVA will remain on your credit report for a period of 6 years from its acceptance at the creditors meeting. It worries me that you would want to go straight back to loans and credit cards after being in an IVA for 5 years.

Hi lellyk, Glad to hear your IVA was completed successfully. I would like to ask you if you would mind writing a review of your experience with your IVA provider on our web site? That is if you have not done so already. Best of luck for the future.
Many thanks
