Your details will stay on the register for 6 years from the date of the creditors meeting and acceptance.

I thought your name came off the insolvency register as soon as your IVA had finished? I thought it was just your credit rating that was for 6 years?

i was under the same impression as Kallis, once iva completed name removed within a few weeks, ooohhh Mrs Skint i hope you are not right.

Hi all
I was declared bankrupt in July 2007 and discharged in December 2007,
and my name was removed almost immediatley.

If you are bankrupt your details stay on the register for 3 months from the date of discharge - today is my last day!

Cheers for that....I know it'll stay on my credit record for the time being but am definitely looking forward to it being removed as soon as the IVA is officially finished. THEN it's time for a party!
