Hi All

I'm just entering the final year of my IVA and would like to know what happens at the end prcess.

I understand that the IP sends information through to the DTI, what exactly do they send through?

Are there any specific things I have to do at the end?

I'm with Grant Thornton who up until now have been wonderful and extremely helpful, but recently they are being absolute pains in the rear!

I'm wondering is this because I'm in my final year?

I'd really like some idea of whatto expect in this final year and are there any hiccups that could happen in the home stretch?

I'd really like to start considering a mortgage now and start to save once the IVA is finished, is there anything to say I couldn't get a mortgage because of my IVA?

Thanks for any advice you cn give me!

Firstly you will not have a problem getting a mortgage as long as you have at least a 10% deposit. You will be best going through a broker and the deals available are extremely good but not quite High St rates.
The only info, that I,m aware of,that is sent out is to remove your name from the insolvency register.
You should receive a copy of the final report sent to your creditors and a satisfaction certificate once your IVA finishes, but this may take several weeks.
Hope this helps

Thanks DebtDummy

Not looking at that at the moment as I haven't got a 1% deposit, let alone a 10% deposit!

It's something for the future, now that I actually have one!

Much appreciated...
