i have an iva and was told it wouldnt stop me getting a morgage.i have applied for a morgage and was told i need to give the creditors 28day notice of this too object if they so wish.my iva company received my letter on march 25th but have not drafted thier letter up until the 20th april are they allowed to leave it this long before working on my behalf i now have to wait another 28 days before getting a response.

I,ve not come across this before,normally you just need the permission of your IP.It may be that you are looking at increasing your living costs and this will affect your IVA payments.
Whatever the reasons you need a better service from your IP,so I suggest that you keep pushing them.
Can you post more details ?

I agree with Andy, contact your IP and ask why things are taking so long.
