Hi dash71 .
I was just looking through the posts and noticed yours has been missed, it sometimes happens if they move quickly down the page. Hopefuly some of the technical experts will answer. Yes you can remortgage in an iva, does your proposal have an equity clause in it ? I would also steer clear of the companies that mail you, the best thing to do would be to talk to your Ip and ask their opinion, if you want mortgage help welshboy, tony who posts on here is well recommended.
Hope this helps a bit.

It may be possible for you to remortgage to offer an early settlement into your IVA, but this will largely be dependent upon whether the property is already included in the arrangement - ie have you agreed to remortgage it during the fourth or final year to raise additional money. These types of provision are commonplace in IVAs which have been accepted over the last couple of years, and if creditors have the benefit of having four years contributions and equity it may be difficult to persuade them that an early settlement is in their interests.
