Hi

I have just had my full and final offer accepted!

After almost 2 years, without missing any payments, a family member has agreed to step in to make this possible.

My questions:

To give me the best chance of moving on what should I request the IP note on my credit file and what paperwork should I also ensure I receive?

(my apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but I couldn't find this specifically)

Very many thanks to all the forum for the advice I've obtained from reading around when considering and ultimately entering into my IVA - it's been very helpful!

Welcome to the forum - The IVA will be marked as satified - however will remain on file for a total of 6 years - you need to wait till you have your completetion certificate - then the IVA is closed and any oustanding debt written off.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on having your Full and Final offer accepted. As ginger says you'll get your completion certificate but the IVA will stay on your credit file for 6 years from the date of acceptance of the IVA irrespective if you've paid it off early or not. x

Thanks ginger & lesley for your welcome and replies...

Happy with the fact that it will remain on file for six years (that's just the way it has to be) but is there anything specific I should request my IP should note on my credit file, or will it always simply be 'satisfied'?

(starting to feel kinda guilty that I have only 'lurked' before, but although I was going through the process, I never really felt I could input as an 'authority'! Suffice to say it was the best thing I ever did though!)

Wildone - regardless of what written the IVA will show - and that will limit your choices for future lending.

One you have your certificate request the Stat credit reports £2 - check them all for defaults dated after the start of your IVA. if you see one write to the company (data controller)and enclose a copy of your certificate and request it be removed .
