...but I think I'm going off chocolate!!! I've just had a Crunchie with my lunch and I didn't enjoy it and I now wish I'd never had it! That's not like me - do you think I'm ill?!?!?!?

if it makes you feel any better I just had a big bag (family size) of Revels and loved every one - well apart from the toffee ones, which I gave to my dog, who does like them..

I've never liked Revels! Maltesers are my favourite.

You shouldn't give dogs chocolate - it's a poison to them! Sadly they don't seem to understand it though!

I know skippy - don't worry, I sucked the chocolate off first - My youngest daughter is a veterinary nurse, if she was anywhere near the house I wouldn’t dare give him any sweets at all… It is funny to see him chew the toffee though..

Have you ever given him marshmallows? I used to give them occasionally to my mum's last dog and it was quite funny watching her trying to eat them!

[:D] Yes I have, but he throws them all over the place and doesn't eat them. The funniest thing I have given to him is grapes, he throws them around for a while then lays down with the grape in his front paws peeling it. He leaves all the skin and eats the grape - has me in stitches... it takes him forever

Oh love him! My mum's dog (she of the rabbit's head!) will eat almost anything. The cat is more entertaining - she's eaten hamburger, curried mackeral, anything she can get her paws on!

We have two cats - both are shot away. Both rescued strays (we have had them for about 8 years) they spend all day ganging up on and tormenting the dog. One of them has a real thing for bananas, the other one would eat anything you put in front of him.

Having a daughter who is a vets nurse, we get all the rejects bought home. We currently have two chinchillas, (one deaf and blind, the other a sex mad monster) a rabbit (with half eaten ears), two cats (one mentally disturbed and requires constant medication) and a dog (Mine) living here full time. – but being the end of the week I have no doubt she will come home with a caged whatever, that needs special care. Last week we had a massive green fruit eating lizard, I have no idea what it was, but it sat on a parrots perch looking at me all weekend. It must have been at least five foot from head to tail. I dread to think what it will be this week.

Well at the moment we've got no animals as we live in a flat (please everyone cross their fingers as Dave is hoping to exchange contracts on Monday to move next Thursday!) but Dave has said he'll get me a kitten for my birthday!

Let us know what animals arrive this week Mike - it sounds very interesting in your household!

Thanks - it's been a complete nightmare so I'm not getting my hopes up. Everyone was ready to exchange when the buyer's solicitor suddenly announced they hadn't done the searches! It's a shame there isn't a sort of IVA.com for solicitors!

It turned out that the original solicitor had left the company without handing the file over and it just sat there without being looked at! Todays conversation went like this:

Our solicitor: We understand Mr X has paid his deposit.
Their solicitor: Has he?
Ours: Apparently so. Can you check if the money has been received?
Theirs (when they ring back): Yes it's been paid but we haven't received it yet.
Ours: Do you know how it was paid?
Theirs: No.
Ours: Can you find out?
Theirs: No.

How's that for customer service?!?
