Hi
My creditors are meeting/have met at 2pm today and I am awaiting their decision as to whether they accept my full and final offer of £3k. Does anyone know how long these meetings take and how I will find out the outcome? I am soooooo anxious ...

£3k for a full and final sounds on the low side. Please can you give us some more details on your IVA proposal? Many thanks.

Just thought that you are probably refering to a full and final payment of an IVA you are currently in and not a brand new IVA.
All the best with the variation, I hope you achieve a positive result.

The original debt was £22k and I am in year 4 of the arrangement, this means I have already paid in over £10k. The original amount expected by my debtors was £13,800 - the £3k would bring it to this amount. However, the complication was/is that I was supposed to remortgage my property in year 4 (August 07) and because it is 505 co-owned with a housing association, this was not possible. Since that time it is only with the help and support of this website that I have offered the £3k as a f&f.

Sorry to go on (and on, and on ...) but does anyone know how long a creditors meeting takes? My IP was very specific that if would be a 2pm today.

Hi desperateend,
Best of luck with the meeting, I would call your I.P and ask if there is any further progress on your proposal. Sometimes it can take a couple of hours and other times its completed the time the I.P says.
