Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know that my IVA has been accepted with a modification of £20 per month.
I would like to thank everyone for their support and help, it has helped me so much. I will, of course. keep in contact with the forum.
Whilst writing, HSBC,GE Money, Marks and Spencer all voted but Freemans, Kaleidoscope and Premier Man did not.

Thanks everyone for your congratulations, much appreciated.
I would like to put my contingency funds (e.g. dentist)into a savings fund on a monthly basis. Please could you kindly recommend any scheme.
Many thanks

Hi JK you can just open a savings account, ask who you are namking with it would be easier to transfer between the accounts.

Hi jk
I have my current account and savings account with the co-op as I find it easier to run the two with the same bank.
If I need to transfer from one account to the other it is instant and can be done online.
Find this works for me and the co-op have been great so far, inbranch, on the phone and internet banking is easy to use.
Good luck

Hi Emma,
Thanks for your feedback. I opened three months ago a basic bank account with Halifax which is working fine. I had a current bank account for years with HSBC but had to change to Halifax due to HSBC being one of my creditors in IVA agreement.
I think that I may have trouble if I only have a basic bank account in trying for savings account - not sure.

Hi Everyone,
My IVA was approved on 28th January this year. However, the day before Christmas Eve I was informed by my company that my salary would be going up i.e. take home pay was £1177.00 - from January 2008 to take home £1214.00. IVA Proposal shows £1177.00. Will Annual Review Meeting expect 50% of the monthly increase i.e. £37.00. I appreciate the 50/50 clause with regard to bonuses but not sure how they would act on small monthly increase. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi there as the increase is relatively small and there are bound to be some rises in your expenditure, like council tax etc then it may just cancel it out. It will also depend on if your proposal states 50% of payrises or all of it. I would check with your company on that.
